Mustard and Beer Bread

I got this recipe (if you can call it that) from my dad and it is really simple; Just take your ordinary white bread recipe and substitute all the liquid for FLAT beer of your choice (I’ve used Old Peculiar and Guinness, both work well) and add 2 tablespoons of whole grain mustard. I usually cheat by using a packet bread mix and making it in my bread machine, it works really well.

350g White bread mix (or your usual white bread recipe less the liquid)
230ml beer (flat)
2 tablespoons whole grain mustard, eg. Grey Poupon

1. Pour the flat beer into the bread machine pan
2. Put bread mix in on top
3. Put the mustard in on top of the bread mix
4. Set bread machine for white 1.5lb loaf with medium crust
