I bought some X10 wireless remote controls and a receiver for the home automation system this week, as sods law would have it the day they were delivered I arrived home to find out the X10 Computer interface had died. At least I now had the remotes so I could still turn the lights on but I couldn’t set any macros up without the computer interface working. Sent it back on Wednesday and as they only process returns on a Thursday it looks like I’m going to be waiting till the end of next week till I get it back. Found an interesting article on using a GameBoy Advance SP as a home automation display/controller, makes for a cheap colour LCD display.
